Should I get new pickups for my Ibanez guitar?
I have a pretty cheap Ibanez GSA60 and have just been playing for a few months. I used to take lessons for my acoustic so I have some guitar experience, but I don't know much about electric guitar parts. I play my Ibanez through a Line 6 Spider III 75 watt amp, a pretty good amp to play around on, but I've noticed that I get really muddy sound playing chords or arpeggios, or any simultaneous combination of notes. It's hardly noticeable at some points, but especially for higher notes, I have to play each note individually or I get an awful-sounding buzz or beeping noise. I know it isn't the amp doing this because the guitar did the same on a cheaper amp and I've heard this before on inexpensive guitars.
Is this problem just a product of the cheap Ibanez stock pickups? I have been looking to get a new humbucker, maybe an Activator-X to get really good harmonics, and would that solve the problem?

try checking in a replacement gibson humbucker or a dimarzo super distortion or their x2n,very sonic style pickups.
